Remembrance

Today is an important day for me. I was at college during 9/11 so I didn't get to be in the city and for some reason I always feel bad that I wasn't at home where I belong. I am one of those people who chooses to forget the day rather than remember it because it just bothers me. But still, I would not feel right not acknowledging today because I am a New Yorker and this is my home. So I am taking a moment to do that right now in this entry. We should all remember what matters in life and try to focus on the important and not the petty small stuff. :)

I'll post something beauty related tomorrow! Thanks for all the support about my site by the way - I am thankful people are reading and don't think I am shallow. ;)
